Yes ... it can be like that :-(

My first implementation to get this going was loopback - ie browser & 2 web
servers** all running on the same machine. I saw several seconds between
connections, I think that this was taken up with Javascript doing it thing.

I'll have a look at the performance, it was hard enough to get it working.

What I will also do is to update the version of bugzilla that is running. This
should be easy: Apache is running version 5.0.6, Nginx version 5.0.4

** I could only get it to work under Apache - that is what the Javascript calls
back to. The javascript is served up by the main web server: nginx.
