Some dependencies are missing in the Debian archive:
apt-get install libmotif-dev
libmotif-dev : Depends: libxft-dev but it is not going to be installed

But I could install alliance from the debian repo:
apt-get install alliance

Get:1 http://deb.debian.org/debian stretch/main ppc64el libmotif-common all

Get:2 http://deb.debian.org/debian stretch/main ppc64el libxm4 ppc64el 2.3.4-13

Now I need to set the path in mk/users.d
