dokkahh will seriously get in the way at this phase.

when we have to do repeatable builds on fixed git tags *then* it is "perfect".

we need right now to be able to git pull on five to eight different repos and
using and relying on a dokkaah container to do that job (badly) is just going
to piss me off.

a debian stable (buster) chroot however is a minimal compromise that does not
force everyone to back their main system down to debian buster, yet still
allows clean git pulls (and pushes) allowing everyone to keep in sync.

even distro packaging would be a nuisance because we need to do regular git
pulls and rebuilds of alliance etc.

so please, jock: don't install "preferred  editor environment" in the chroot. 
keep it absolutely minimalist.
