How about you play with the nMigen Minerva SOC.
That should teach you quite a lot.

Personally, I’ve always just done what interested me - skills built up overtime with consistency.
It sounds like you have enough skills to do some meaningful work.

I’d say don’t be afraid to work because you think you might make a mistake - that’s why we have multiple people - you can always ask for help when needed.
