ok so i just had a very-short-notice and fascinating conversation with
michiel, he's clearly very excited by the idea that we put forward.

i had no idea how many different resources that they've put together
over the years: documentation, diversity, security, legal, auditing,
translation, and many more, all of which we now have access to if we
need them!

also, one important thing that came out of the conversation: they fund
*individuals* as a first priority, and the rules are that a first
project completed by any one individual is limited to EUR $50,000.
therefore, if we set up a sub-project, and that is completed, the
limit becomes lifted for that individual, unlocking additional funding
for the group.

so, michiel is going to send me the MOU, we will need to discuss and
agree the tasks: those will be added to the MOU and it gets signed.

jacob: michiel recommended that you also sign the MOU, because then it
will be possible for NLnet to send you money directly on completion of
tasks assigned to you.
