today trying to get IOpads wired up in old coriolis2 ioring, it is
being a pain so i am going to try the new format (niolib) rhat
Jean-Paul created an example for, a few days ago.

this means outputting more details into the json format from the
pinmux spec generator (to add the IO type) because the new niolib
format needs to know the pin direction.
