tasks:

*
https://bugs.libre-soc.org/showdependencytree.cgi?id=383&maxdepth=1&hide_resolved=1

yesterday:

* kicked litex around a lot and got nowhere.
* finally, daveshah suggested using litex DDR3 simulation

this at last allowed me to run a side by side microwatt-libresoc litex BIOS
Memtest which confirmed that there is a problem with libresoc.

only took 2 days to find that out...

today:

* mmu.py review and running "python3 mmu.py" found a stack of issues.
codemorphed it.
* added litex sim.py "debug window" based on the pc, registers and memory
accesses are dumped.

this allows looking at the debug output for a certain function, to find
discrepancies between microwatt and libresoc, but without having to go
through tens of thousands of pages of debug output.

currently running, i will compare the logs later today.

l.
