I totally understand where your coming from, however rustup.rs is part of
the official rust project (closely related to Mozilla), see here for
alternative installation options:
https://github.com/rust-lang/rustup#other-installation-methods

it's similar to installing firefox on windows, where you download and run
the executable.

They have a reputation waay better than the average porn website.
