at no point should you be rebooting, and chroots (which schroot is one) never
under any circumstances should cause or require a reboot.

do a 1 minute search on what chroot is.  they save a lot of hassle not damaging
a system with random bits of software.

in fact docker basically works as a form of advanced chroot (one using cgroups)
