Just for reference, MIPS-3D has 4 instructions similar to cbranch.ifall and ifnone, one for 2 compares and one for four.

Had forgotten about those. I was able to find the appnote many years ago before ImgTec shredded the original mips.com website. Finding info about MIPS-3D now is a lot harder.
