hi folks,

well, they're highly likely to be looking at the mailing list (so hi!)
- i got word today that they need more time to review the application
i put in.  i suggested that, rather than it be directly to us, that
instead it be to NLNet, which has a couple of advantages: firstly,
it's tax-deductible for them.  secondly, we'll not be directly
handling larrrge sums of money, and thirdly, the NLNet team will be
able to keep a sensible eye on how the money's allocated.

so, we see how it goes.
